Today we headed to Poolhead, joined by our guest Ian, to replace a dilapidated stile. The footpath runs alongside an old building—possibly some kind of storage, though we’re not entirely sure.
After the spell of dry weather, the ground was very hard, and the abundance of rocks and stones made the work a little hard going.
With the new gate now in place, the landowner will be able to fence off the area while still maintaining the public right of way through the new gate.
