This December, Wem Parish Paths Partnership (Wem P3) is inviting everyone to join three accessible walks around Wem—perfect for enjoying the festive lights, getting some gentle exercise, and connecting with your community.
The walks are part of Walks Around Wem, a P3 project designed to arrange meet-ups and create social connections. With funding from an Awards for All grant, these walks are free and open to everyone.
Each walk is fully accessible, suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and pushchairs, and we’ll take time to stroll at a relaxed pace so everyone can enjoy the experience. You’re welcome to bring friends, family, and dogs—the more, the merrier!
Walking is a great way to boost wellbeing, meet new people, and enjoy your local area. And after each walk, there’s a festive treat: hot chocolate, carols, or drinks, so you can celebrate the season together.
