The weather forecast for this morning looked far from promising, but by 9:30 there was still no sign of the expected rain, so we pressed on with the planned work behind St Mary the Virgin Church in Edstaston.
We had a good turnout of willing volunteers, though one or two weren’t quite match-fit! With a full team on hand, we took the brush cutter along to work clearing part of the path beyond the church. Our main task, however, was to replace a rather awkward double stile with a single gate.
